409 N. Wooster Ave., Dover, Ohio
FaCT’s 2017 Annual Meeting will be held at St. John’s United Church of Christ in Dover, Ohio on Saturday, September 30. We will begin with a luncheon at noon hosted by the Banquet Committee of St. John’s UUC.
Dr. David Orr, Special Assistant to the President of Oberlin College on Sustainability and the Environment, will present “Faith Community Resilience in the Face of Climate Change.”
David Orr is an environmentalist, author, and engaging speaker who has presented around the world. While at Oberlin, he spearheaded the effort to design, fund, and build the Adam Joseph Lewis Center, which was named by an AIA panel in 2010 as “the most important green building of the past 30 years,” and as “one of 30 milestone buildings of the twentieth century” by the U.S. Department of Energy. Don’t miss this important presentation!
The annual meeting will also include Board elections for Vice-President, Secretary, and three Directorships.
Please RSVP here, and indicate any of the following dietary requirements: VEGAN, VEGETARIAN, GLUTEN-FREE. Please also indicate if you have any food allergies to allow the Banquet Committee to accommodate everyone.
The ANNUAL MEETING is scheduled for the most central possible location given the wide range of our members. We want as wide a geographical participation from all our chapters and affiliates including WV and PA as we can have for this once-a- year special meeting.
